August 2004 Update
Not much happened during August.
It was hot and rainy. After our daughter left we had VILKAS hauled to
have the bottom painted as well as a few other maintenance items.
The job was suppose to take about one week but expanded into three weeks. VILKAS went back in the water August 27.
Tidewater yard let us stay at their docks until Monday August 30 at that
time we went back to Anchorage Marina. The
Southbound Cruisers Reunion is being held at Anchorage Marina September 7, 8,
and 9 and we plan on attending. While
we were out of the water we stayed with Ugne’s parents and I drove to the boat
each day to keep the project moving. It
was great to get back on the boat.
